Description Special procedures radiology technologists are responsible for assisting physicians and other clinicians as they perform procedures such as X-ray guided cardiac catheterizations, cardiac ablations, cardiac stinting, cardiac balloon placement, and diagnostic studies involving the use of dyes or contrast materials
Requirement

• Graduate of Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Accredited Radiology Program or equivalent. Certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists or equivalent
• State specific; current and unrestricted licensure, if applicable; certification by AART
• Minimum of one (1) year Rad Tech experience
• Valid and current BLS through the American Heart Association
