Special procedures radiology technologists are responsible for assisting physicians and other clinicians as they perform procedures such as X-ray guided cardiac catheterizations, cardiac ablations, cardiac stinting, cardiac balloon placement, and diagnostic studies involving the use of dyes or contrast materials
Graduate of Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Accredited Radiology Program or equivalent. Certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists or equivalent
State specific; current and unrestricted licensure, if applicable; certification by AART
Minimum of one (1) year Rad Tech experience
Valid and current BLS through the American Heart Association

2 Step TB, TSPOT, Quantiferon Gold (or documentation of 2 TB screenings within current year)
Immunization Records (MMR, HEP B, Tdap, Influenza and Varicella vaccinations or positive titers)
