Description Pediatric intensive care unit nurses have three main duties: monitoring patients, providing appropriate care and informing patients and their families on the status of procedures. Nurses are trained to perform life-saving, invasive interventions to stabilize patients and apply crisis management techniques
Requirement

• Graduate of an accredited RN program with an Associates or higher degree of Nursing
• Current RN license or (compact license), in good standing with the State licensing board for the state of job assignment
• Minimum of one (1) year PICU nurse experience
• Valid and current BLS, PALS through the American Heart Association and some facilities may require NRP which is always preferred
