Description An ambulatory care nurse is a nursing professional that treats patients that seek routine medical care for acute and chronic illnesses as well as injuries, usually outside of a hospital setting. As an ambulatory care nurse, you will most likely find yourself working with individuals on an outpatient basis only
Requirement

• Graduate of an accredited RN program with an Associates or higher degree of Nursing
• Current RN license or (compact license), in good standing with the State licensing board for the state of job assignment
• Minimum of one (1) year Ambulatory nurse experience
• Valid and current BLS, ACLS, PALS through the American Heart Association and some facilities may require TNCC, NIHSS which is always preferred
