On the job, you will collect and analyze body fluids, tissue and other substances to determine normal or abnormal findings. You will operate sophisticated equipment and instruments to identify the results. Both technicians and technologists perform tests and procedures that physicians or other healthcare personnel order
Graduate of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technologist program with a Bachelors or higher degree
Current MLT license in good standing with the State licensing board for the state of job assignment; some states have different licensing requirements such as CA
Minimum of one (1) year CLS experience
Valid and current BLS through the American Heart Association

2 Step TB, TSPOT, Quantiferon Gold (or documentation of 2 TB screenings within current year)
Immunization Records (MMR, HEP B, Tdap, Influenza and Varicella vaccinations or positive titers)
