They monitor and assess patients, ensuring the provision of safe and effective care. The job duties of diagnostic and interventional radiology nurses include (but are not limited to): Preparing patients for procedures: Includes checking and verifying vital signs, meds, NPO status, lab results, and medical history
Graduate of an accredited RN program with an Associates or higher degree of Nursing
Current RN license or (compact license), in good standing with the State licensing board for the state of job assignment
Minimum of one (1) year Interventional Radiology nurse experience
Valid and current BLS, ACLS through the American Heart Association and some facilities may require TNCC which is always preferred

2 Step TB, TSPOT, Quantiferon Gold (or documentation of 2 TB screenings within current year)
